What We Do

Pacific Sámi Searvi is a nonprofit cultural association serving Sámi descendants, Sámi, and anyone with an interest in the Sámi. While we are incorporated in Washington State, membership is open to anyone who shares a commitment to our mission, regardless of address.

Throughout the year, we coordinate exhibits, educational displays, films, talks, and social gatherings, and advocate for the rights of Sámi and other Indigenous peoples. Check our events calendar for the latest information. We also host a website, public Facebook page, and Members Facebook group.

We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Nominations of members to serve on the Board are accepted in May of each year, with elections in June.
